Internet Matters launched its first Digital Safety Awards in 2016, to recognise the best products, services and initiatives that help to keep children safe online. At the awards ceremony on 24 May, Julia Bateson, co-founder of internet safety company, Excite-ed, was shortlisted as Digital Safety Entrepreneur. The award recognised individuals and groups who created innovative product or service driven change to help keep children safe online.
